I'm forever correcting people on the spelling of my last name. Everyone always wants to capitalize the "d". I've even had people try to tell me that I'm the one spelling it wrong. I guess if I lived in Scotland people would believe me. Shot this picture while I was at my Pop's house over Thanksgiving. Turns out the Macdonald Clan has been spelling it that way for quite some time. The writing translates to "by sea or by land". Scotland is an island don't ya know.

When I went out to support the year ender for Grind for Life in Coco Beach, it just made sense to stop by The Projects in Orlando and get another session on the 2.0 system. Ben and the crew from Remote Wakeskates come out as well. The one slam we missed on video (of course) was when I mistimed the turnaround and slide on my belly right up onto dry land about six feet away from the edge of the water. Funny stuff. I rode till my arms couldn't hold the rope any more. So much fun once again. Can't wait to go back.

Good times at the GFL year end awards in Coco Beach, FL. Thanks to everyone that came out to help support and raise money for people with cancer.

Often times on the STR8tlk Tour we arrive at a school, set up in the auditorium and have a few minutes to kill before the kids are sent down from class. I'm not very good at just sitting around so, here's what I did today while I waited.

I often get asked what goes on before a big contest or demo behind the scenes. The answer is that you'd probably never guess. One of the biggest, most physically demanding tours I've ever done was the first Boom Boom Huck Jam. There was a 'half time' during which all the athletes would come back to the dressing room and drink... Hot tea with lots of honey, of all things. Here's a little clip of what Bucky was doing before we went out for the vert demo at the Wynn in Vegas.

Fun session at Buck's tonight. I almost kicked over his palm tree trying the tree plant but I made it. Thanks for manning the cameras Bucky and Conway. More footage here
